There's a low hum throughout Sojourner Deep, from its eerie crystalline structures to its broad tiled plazas. It's barely audible, but the passengers are aware of it all the same: felt in the bones as much as heard by the ears.
Everyone's personal communications device flashes with a single short message: RECALIBRATION COMPLETED.
And... the humming stops. The residents will discover, over the next day-cycle, that there is, in fact, a day cycle again. And that gravity is once more behaving itself at the standard to which the majority of them are accustomed to.
